Greg Shell Joins Strickland & Company

Charlotte, NC --Greg Shell, award winning art director and well-known member of the Charlotte area advertising community, has joined Strickland & Company Advertising as Senior Art Director.Strickland & Company is a full-service business-to-business advertising agency serving the Charlotte area since 1993.

Prior to joining Strickland, Shell was Creative Director at Doggett Advertising where he was responsible for all layout, design and production in the company's catalog marketing department. In addition to supervising the creative staff, Shell provided project management, client contact and the selection and supervision of outside vendors.

Shell's account experience includes industrial, technical, retail, food service, sports marketing, health care, apparel and other business categories. Former accounts include Alcatel NA, Hugo Boss, Outer Banks Sportswear, CommScope, FMC Lithium Division, Winston-Salem Warthogs baseball, Grace Hospital and the American Heart Association.

Shell holds a B.A. in Communications from Catawba College and an M.F.A. in Illustration and Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. His work has earned Pro-Comm awards from the national Business Marketing Association (BMA) and the Pro-Ad awards, including Best of Show, from the Carolinas Chapter of the BMA. He has also received Best of Show from the Western North Carolina Ad Federation, an AWF Sequoia Award and a National Merit Award for Healthcare Advertising.

Strickland & Company was recently recognized by the BMA for excellence in advertising and public relations activities for its clients including Conbraco Industries, S&D Coffee, McJunkin Corporation, Galvan Industries and the National Electronic Distributors Association.
