Local Ad Agency President Elected VP of International Marketing Association
Charlotte, NC --Kirby Strickland, CBC, president of Strickland & Company Advertising, has been elected to the international board of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) as Vice President of the Southeast region. The BMA, an organization which promotes education and networking among business-to-business marketing professionals, has chapters across North America.
Strickland has been a member of BMA and a Certified Business Communicator (CBC) for more than 20 years. He has served previously on both the local and international boards, including two terms as local chapter president. At the end of his second term, in 1997, the Carolinas Chapter earned the first of four consecutive Chapter of the Year awards.
BMA membership is open to advertising agency and client side marketing professionals, as well as public relations practitioners, suppliers and business media representatives.
